Fight the Good Fight
I don’t know about you, but January 2024 came in whooping my ass from day 1
From loosing close friends, my dad having a heart attack, and me personally fighting through a few injuries has been tough.
Recently, I found myself praying and during my meditation I remember saying, “God ok now enough is enough!”
God instantly reminded me of the scripture of Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Then I heard God say, “dig deeper it is not over!”
Things may be rough and you may feel like you have done all you can, you may be overwhelmed with emotions… don’t give up, you’re right at the end! Dig deeper God is not through with you yet, there is more that he is wanting from you!
When you think you have done enough, dig deeper.
When you think you have accomplished all of your goals, dig deeper
When you think you can’t handle any more situations, dig deeper.
When you don’t have enough money for your bills, dig deeper
When you can’t see your way out, dig deeper
When your heart is broken and negativity is coming from every direction, dig deeper
When life gets heavy, dig deeper
When your children are acting out, dig deeper
Embrace the challenge, dig deeper into your efforts, and observe how meticulous exploration enhances the quality and impact of your results.
God is after something inside of us that is far greater than what you can see on the surface.
Rise up, be about your business. Go after that business you have always wanted, take that trip, buy that house…You can do it! Understand that if you want something, you also have to be willing to work for it. Nothing in life is easy or free so let’s go beyond the limits stop quitting when things become difficult or feels impossible. Sometimes God requires us to push through the pain, get out of our comfort zone and work a little harder. What God has for us is bigger and greater than the eyes can see.
In order to seize the moments, we must have discipline, grit, passion and determination to stay in the fight. When we feel we are losing, don’t walk away stay planted as the young people say ten toes down, show up for yourself, your family and your friends.
There is a saying that goes ‘80% of success in life is just showing up.
Showing up really means to be present in more than one way. It’s about appearing consistently for things that matter.
When you show up focus on the process not on the excuses or the distractions.
Excuses and distractions will tell us we can’t but just you showing up says I’m willing to try anyway so give it all you got.
Let’s Dig deep together!
