Stop Sowing Self Sabotaging Seeds
Don't Hold Yourself Back…This month I talk about how we often mess things up for ourselves without even realizing it. You know those times when you think you're not good enough and you give up? Yeah, I have been there too. So often we can’t see our self worth, so we never begin to heal or grow. Our self image becomes so distorted and it becomes very hard to believe that we are worthy.
God wants us to be awesome, but to get there, we've got to let go of old habits and start thinking differently, even if it feels weird at first. Getting better means leaving behind the stuff that's holding us back.
We must be willing to cut some ties, change our mindsets, and prepare to be uncomfortable at times.
Understand that elevation comes with separation.
Separation from old habits, our old way of thinking and existing. We have to become more aware of our unhealthy behaviors and replace them with new ones. And this takes more than motivation, this takes discipline, courage and dedication to yourself.
We've all hit that point where we're sick of feeling stuck and unhappy. It's time to start planting good stuff in our lives—things like health, love, joy, and peace.
When you sow a seed you do so with the expectation that it will take some time and effort in order for the seed to grow. It has to be taken care of properly. This is not something that we should expect overnight. It should be watered regularly. It needs to be planted in the right amount of soil with the right amount of nurturing. There is work that happens between seed time and harvest time.
Life is a process and change is a journey. In order to reap the harvest you must first do the work.
In life the seed appears in the form of an investment, we invest our money, time, effort, creativity, discipline and energy hoping that our investment will birth a business, relationships, and excellent health over a period of time.
Stop dimming your light with negative thoughts, relationships, and bad habits. Whatever you have going on in your mind your body will eventually start justifying what your mind chooses if you don’t take your thoughts captive.
